On the south-eastern coast of the Peloponnese, south of the picturesque village of Petalidi and between the coastal towns of Kalamaki and Chranoi, the exclusive Stone Bay Houses estate with pool rises above Chelonaria Beach. From here, there is a sweeping, breathtaking view of the sparkling Messinian Gulf, the opposite coast of the Mani region and the imposing Taygetos.
The complex comprises six comfortable terraced houses facing southeast, nestled in a spacious, well-maintained garden and lawn. Four two-storey stone houses form the centre of the complex, while a smaller, single-storey terraced house at each end harmoniously rounds off the ensemble. We offer two of the centrally located terraced houses in this charming holiday complex.
The interior design is bright, friendly and simple, creating a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. The two-storey terraced house offers ground-level access and has a living area with a sofa for one person, a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. Both the living room and bedroom open directly onto the covered terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the garden and the sea. A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is another bedroom with a bathroom and a spacious terrace with an unobstructed panoramic view over the Messinian Gulf.
You can reach the pool area via the garden and lawn. The magnificent pool with spacious sunbathing areas right by the water invites you to relax under the Mediterranean sun. The approx. 165 sqm communal pool (16.5 × 10 m, 1.50 m deep, unheated, open from 13 April to 31 October) and the approx. 20 sqm children's pool (2.5 × 8 m, 0.65 m deep) with sun loungers, parasols and outdoor shower offer carefree bathing fun for young and old. A communal washing machine is also available in a separate area of the complex. The allocation of houses is done on site by the landlord.
Just 500 metres above Stone Bay Houses is an independent riding stable where guests can enjoy riding lessons and horseback rides. The five horses, all born in Greece, live as close to nature as possible – a special experience for animal and nature lovers. No guarantee can be given for the opening hours and availability of the stable.
The south-eastern coast of Messinia impresses with numerous sandy beaches and crystal-clear water – from extensive stretches of coastline to small, hidden bays. The nearby Chelonaria beach with its popular Caribbean Beach Bar invites you to swim, surf and snorkel after a 400 m walk along the beach. Other beautiful beaches such as Peroulia and Memi-Zaga are within a radius of around 20 km.
